Dragon's Back Moutains Jutting up from the ever present mists of the Hidden Continent is a chain of snow-capped mountains whose formation looks like the back ridge of some giant slumbering dragon. The Old World - The Jade Empire
The Imperial City of Jade Silverthorne in nothing compared with this grand expanse of a city. Slowly becoming the steam technology capitol of the world, The Imperial City of Jade is the seat of the Jade Empire. It's grand oriental buildings are slowly being added to with steam-tech as the city undergoes a more internal change due to the fact the late Emperor died suddenly with no heir and a civil war has erupted among those who wish to claim the Jade Throne... The Great Port City of Siiala Once, just one of many oceanic port cities, but since the discovery of making and flying Skyships in this very city it has recently swelled to huge proportions as a whole new industry has arisen to support the Skyships now filling the sky. The city still supports ocean-going vessels as well, but many have made others their home port thanks to the fact the Skyships like to land in it's large bay. With the civil war, many refugees have flocked here to seek passage to the 'New World' for better or worse... Moderators: HorusRe, Jai'byrd

In a world where fantasy is reality, a recent advance in steam-tech has led to the creation of Skyships, a hybrid of magic and technology. With these powerful new Skyships a new continent has been opened up for expansion, one covered by an eternal, near-impenetrable mist that thwarted earlier attempts to pass for centuries. Now creatures of all sorts and backgrounds migrating to the Hidden Continent, a new city-settlement has cropped up there called Silverthorne, where Old World meets New World and magic merges with technology to create a whole new frontier…
Meanwhile in the ‘Old World’, two great civilizations vie for dominance, being that of the civil war-torn Jade Empire in the south and the enigmatic fae Silver Kingdom in the north. Will Old World politics interfere with Silverthorne’s struggle to survive? Or will the brave creatures striving for a new life in a new land overcome to forge a place for them in this uncertain world? Come find out here in Silverthorne!
